Working with Murdoch University, we’re now calling for applications into a Masters of Information Technology for the upcoming February 2022 intake.

Course Majors

This postgraduate Masters of Information Technology can be completed through coursework in classes, or a combination of classes and a dissertation.

The course provides three areas of specialisations that you can choose from:

● IT Management
● Cyber Security and Networking
● Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

Students interested in research can opt to complete a dissertation as part of their studies.

Industry experience:

Murdoch’s technology courses are developed in partnership with industry advisory panels, representing some of WA’s biggest technology companies. Obtaining a qualification from Murdoch will provide graduates with practical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their career.

At Murdoch, an IT degree will provide graduates with:

● Work integrated learning and internships

● Work placements

● Participation in industry projects

● Work simulation experience

Professional Accreditation:

Graduates of the Internetworking and Security specialisations are eligible to sit for industry certification exams such as:

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)

International Welcome Scholarship – Online (40%)

Welcoming new students into our supportive community has always been at the heart of Murdoch University. As such, we are offering a 40% scholarship to welcome eligible new international students who commence their Murdoch University studies online whilst travel to Perth, Western Australia is not possible.

This scholarship is available for all 2022 intakes.

As an international student, you may be eligible for one of the following scholarships:

● International Welcome Scholarship – Onshore students (20%)

English language requirements

All postgraduate courses at Murdoch University have a minimum English entry requirement. The Master of IT English entry criteria can be found in the below table;
